harley davidson motorcycle, harley jacket My neighbor just took off on his Harley Davidson motorcycle for a fun trip to Tucson today. He spends winters in the desert, and in the spring, he and his wife take their Harleys back to Minnesota, where they have their primary home. They ride in the deserts of Arizona all winter, and have great times in this mild climate. They both wear a Harley jacket and leggings for protection, because the air temperatures here in the winter aren't all that warm, and there is a fair amount of traffic on the highways, even though they stick to the back roads. I would love to be able to go with them, and they have invited me, but I don't have my own bike, much less a helmet, and that is something I don't feel like buying for the occasional trip. Somehow I don't think my bicycle helmet would cut it on the highway, riding down the road on a Harley Davidson motorcycle. They said that the wildflowers are starting to bloom, and this spring should be a spectacular one in our deserts because of the heavy rain fall we have consistently had this winter.
