Harley Davidson Motorcycle
It's kind of hard to believe that the small beginnings of the Harley Davidson Motorcycle Company go back to 1903. That's the year that the company considers its beginning; however when William S Harley was 21 in 1901 he drew up plans for a 116cc engine  with a four inch flywheel  that could be adapted onto a regular pedal-bicycle frame. In a way this was the germinal beginning of the Harley Davidson Motorcycle Company. During the next two years Will Harley and his boyhood friend Arthur Davidson developed and completed a working motor-bicycle; unfortunately when they tested it out it was so low-powered that it could only make it up even a modest hill and then only if the rider helped out by peddling. No Matter; this obviously didn't deter them and their supporters. There's a lot more details on the Wikipedia webpage about Harley Davidson Motorcycles.

Well here we are 106 years after Will Harley started things with his engine design and now there is an entire culture of Harley Davidson Motorcycle "believers". They won't have anything to do with any other brand of motorcycle - even if someone tried to give one of these "believers" a free one of any brand. Their devotion to the Harley Davidson Motorscycle borders on religious fervor. If they can afford it they have a Harley jacket; if not they will put the Harley emblem on a denim jacket or whatever they can afford. I've been friends with these "believers" for years and although I am not a true believer I enjoy their belief. Here's a short video about these true "believers" in the iconic Harley Davidson Motorcycle...
