I live in a gated active adult community in a Sunbelt state, and my neighbor, who spends his summers comfortably in Minnesota, keeps his Harley Davidson motorcycle down here for his winter tenure. Well, that's all fine and good, and our state is incredibly great for riding bikes, but he and his Harley Davidson motorcycle friends like to leave his place about 6 AM and go for rides in the mountains.

Does a Harley Davidson motorcycle come equipped with muffler? Can I buy an after market muffler for his and his friends' bikes to leave on his driveway? Hint Hint! They are just so noisy, especially that early in the morning, where most of us are retired and like to sleep until we wake up. Somehow six Harley Davidson Motorcycles in the dead of our mild winter is quite a wake up call.

Don't get me wrong! I like motorcycle rides as much as the next person. It just surprises me that they don't have noise abatement regulations for these machines.
