I found an article today in the Wall Street Journal that brought a smile to my face. It had to do with the baby boomer generation that was now setting their sights on the purchase of Harley Davidson motorcycle trikes instead of the standard Harley Davidson motorcycle. With age comes a lot of changes mentally and physically. Many baby boomers that love to ride feel that trikes are the best way to hit the road but with an added level of safety. If you ask me riding a trike is for nothing more than novelty purpose. A Harley Davidson motorcycle should have no more than two wheels. If you want all of the stability and features of a trike why not just buy a car maybe a convertible if you still want the wind to fly through your hair. If you are interested in this type of Harley Davidson motorcycle then you will probably be interested in the Softail featured in the attached video. Pretty cool looking trike I have to say. Who knows when I’m that old a trike may sound pretty good.
